Discover the Connection That Guarantees Health, Love & Money
Why is there currently so much talk about the movie, The Secret? Everyone on Prime-time, and indeed
everyone who watches TV or reads current articles and magazines have heard about it. Personally I receive
dozens of e-mails about it daily. When did humanity start to talk about universal laws and science to bring you
your God-given rights to an abundant life? What exactly are these laws and how do they work? Does God and
science work together here and does it work for everybody?
The Secret movie has been discussed on every major talk show and in all top circulations now since its release
in March of 2006. Every company, especially publishers, are buzzing about it and using its success to promote
everything from self-help to Hollywood. Everyone is getting a piece of this pie.
The movie was actually the brainstorm of Rhonda Byrne after her acquisition of the book, The Science of
Getting Rich, by Wallace D. Wattles. Rhonda was so amazed by its contents, that she made it her passion to
serve others by creating The Secret and sharing her newfound understanding. Time magazine quotes movie
sales of over 500,000 units within the first six months following its release. That’s pretty impressive considering
not one red cent has ever been spent on advertising don’t you think?
Bob Proctor is a globally acclaimed motivator, author, lecturer, teacher, and entrepreneur – not to mention a
multi-millionaire. Believing in Rhonda’s passion and vision to maximize human potential, he worked with her on
The Secret. Proctor states that the human race is ready for change. “There is an awareness now, the world is
waking up”, he states. He should know. He’s been studying the Laws of Attraction, using it himself, and
teaching others for roughly 50 years now. He attributes his success to Wattle’s work, among others, and his life
mission continues to be to share it with others.
Wattles’ “timeless masterpiece” is a spiritual and scientific approach on how to become rich. His book was
intended for all to have a practical manual with step-by-step instructions on how to motivate ones self and to
work with the scientific laws of attraction and vibration to reach success. He states that unless a person is rich,
he cannot attain the things one needs to develop and grow to full potential. He says, “We cannot rise to our
greatest possible height in talent or soul development unless we have plenty of money. In order to unfold the
soul and to develop talent we must have many things to use, and we cannot have these things unless we have
money to buy them with.” Wattles believed growing rich was a fundamental right to life.
The law of attraction and vibration becomes both scientific and spiritual on the same level. In layman terms,
everything is made up of energy or God. Wattles called this energy/God – “Thinking Stuff”. The human being,
he says, has one outstanding quality that no other creative being has – free will. He says that with the use of
the free will to control thoughts, which are also energy, travel to the universal source; and in turn, the universal
source returns a manifestation of those thoughts. So, every time a person “thinks” of something they want, our
source is arranging to make it happen.
Wattles goes on to say that this is a scientific law – just like gravity which we are all quite aware of. Therefore, it
does not matter what current situation any one is in – it will work for them. If a true connection is made to this
energy and held, God will literally rearrange what is in the environment to complete the manifestation. This is
good news for everyone – not just a chosen few.
Lately, every time I turn on my own TV, it seems like there are discussions about “Average Joes” and Stay-at-
Home Moms who are becoming millionaires. They have usually had some sort of situation occur in their lives
that causes a change in their mindset. When they start to think “out of the box”, they are more open to
opportunities and they start to sit up and notice what is going on around them. They have sometimes made the
connection without even realizing it at first. Next thing you know, they are researching and talking to people like
Bob Proctor and they see their bank accounts start to change for the better too.
No matter if you already believe and understand, or whether you want to learn and put it into action yourself, or
if you want to take advantage of the business opportunities associated with it – it’s a piece of pie you should
look into. “They” say that success is often founded by following in the footsteps and by surrounding yourself
with successful people. There are enough successful people involved here. You just need to pick one.
